Use What You Have: Assortment of Patterned Paper

Hello everyone. Today's card is all about using that one (or one too many) hoarded paper.  I have in my drawer of disorganized shame these gorgeous paper from a Dear Lizzy collection.  The collection has obviously been discontinued since it was from waaaay back but you can check out other collections that are even more gorgeous than this particular one.

This card took a little under an hour to make-the watercolor paper at the back of the jar was just a piece from a previous card, I only added distress ink to break the too pink-ish feel of this card.   To top this off I added that little jar of flowers to the side that also acts as a sentiment that reads "love more and worry less".  Anybody else thought that it was a weird choice to put a jar in another jar?

As I was assembling the supplies it didn't cross my mind that the small jar looked didn't look like a vase and by the time I noticed, it was already adhered to my card.  But I liked it anyways-the sentiment was too stinkin cute.

This was fairly a simple design to make and great to give as a handmade card for any occasion.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
